Description
Isis is the goddess of healing, motherhood, fertility, love, protection, and magic. She was one of the most important and widely worshiped Egyptian deities. Known in Egypt as Aset (Queen of the Throne), she was the daughter of Geb (earth god) and Nut (sky goddess). She is most known today by her Greek name, Isis. She is often depicted as a winged woman wearing a headdress with a disc and horns on the side, or a throne. She is often seen with a staff of papyrus in one hand and an ankh in the other.
Place offerings of incense (especially Myrrh), flowers (rose petals), honey, water vase, candles, and a statue on alters to Isis. Her colors are white, gold, and cobalt blue. Wear jewelry with lapis or moonstone to keep the goddess near.
