Peace Chime
by Woodstock Chimes
Celebrate your inner hippie with this beautiful bronze-tube windchime.
What is now known as the Peace Sign was originally designed in 1958 as the logo for Britain’s Coalition for Nuclear Disarmament (CND). Made from a blending of the semaphores for N (flags held at 4 and 8 o’clock) and D (flags held at 12 and 6 o’clock), it migrated to the US in the 60’s and gained a broader definition as a symbol of peace. It has become one of the most widely known symbols in the world.
Our Peace Chime incorporates the peace symbol in a stunning flame-finished stainless steel windcatcher. In keeping with the theme, the wind chime is musically-tuned to the notes of the second line (“…and let it begin with me”) from the popular hymn “Let There Be Peace on Earth.”
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”
-Harriet Tubman
This chime is designed to hang from a string loop, rather than an o-ring.

Also called the “sky stone,” some American Indian tribes believe turquoise has the power to make one attractive to others.
Our Woodstock Precious Stones Chimes – Turquoise incorporates genuine stone accents, making it as eye-catching as it is pleasing to the ear.
The Woodstock Precious Stones Chimes is a series of small wind chimes designed using colorful and meaningful accents.
